Hello guys! I would like to post a guide about CTP ( Celestial Tech Pack ). This guide will be focused on very specific information for each CTP so you don’t need to read a wall of text. Keep in mind that this guide is effective as of Marvel Future Fight v.4.9. If the next update brings major change to the meta, then you should reconsider character recommendation in this guide. But the main usage tip will remain the same, though. So you can decide for yourself based on their own usage. If you happen to read this guide somewhere with different language, this one is the updated version with slight change in the recommended character part.
How to Obtain CTP
All of the CTPs aside from CTP of Transcendence and Patience can be acquired from custom gear chest within the shop. except gambling, you can also earn them by a ‘guaranteed’ way mostly by finishing quest in Legendary Battle. CTP of Transcendence can be found when discovering Hidden Route in Special Mission, whereas CTP of Patience can be acquired as reward from Boost point.
CTP of Rage
This CTP of Rage has a special damage proc buff that allows your character to receive Increases Damage buff for any skill when proc is activated. Therefore this CTP will be very great for the character who can deal with decent/or high damage from all of their skills. Keep in mind that CTP of Rage is not suitable for characters who focusing their damage to one skill only (i.e Sharon Rogers, Gambit).
CTP of Rage is made for PvE mode metal (especially Alliance Battle Extreme and World Boss Ultimate). Basically CTP of Rage will be suitable for any kind of character except those who focusing their damage to only one skill such as Sharon Rogers, and Gambit. Unlike normal damage proc which applied to 1 skill only, CTP of Rage has special proc that lets any skill to receive Increases Damage buff within the time when the damage proc is activated. Make sure that you cap both of your character’s Critical Rate and Dodge since CTP of Rage’s Increase Damage buff is based on those two stat.
CTP of Energy
CTP of Energy can be given to Alliance Battle Extreme or World Boss Ultimate metas. There are no any exception for CTP of Energy. You can use it on literally anyone and their damage output will skyrocket. The Ignore Dodge stat from CTP of Energy will be beneficial for character who will fight boss with high Dodge such as Frost Beast in ABX Speed Villain/Hero and Corms Glaive WBU.
CTP of Destruction
CTP of Destruction is good for character who will be built for both PvE and PvP mode (hybrid). CTP of Destruction also suitable for PvP metal who has good survivability but lack of ability to pierce through defensive buff. The Immunity to Guard Break stat is essential to avoid being flinch-locked by opponent’s skill that can pierce Super Armor (i.e Quicksilver’s 4th skill, Stryfe’s 5th skill). While Increase Damage buff will help the character to dish out more damage.
CTP of Regeneration
CTP of Regeneration is specifically made for PvP metas who has built-in healing ability either as passive or active skill. By using CTP of Regeneration, not only boost character’s healing ability, but will also help them to survive longer thanks to the unpierceable Shield created and Immunity to Guard Break stat. There are only a handful of character at the moment who is suitable for CTP of Regeneration.
CTP of Authority
CTP of Authority is good for character who will be built for PvP mode thanks to the Invincibility proc and Immunity to Guard Break it has. Basically CTP of Autority is best to be given to character who has ability to pierce through defensive buff. But it also great for PvP character who lacking damage since this CTP grants extra Critical Damage stat along with True Damage Accumulation buff which increases Attack every time the character is attacked.
CTP of Transcendence
CTP of Transcendence is great for character who uses summon/clone as their main damage output thanks to the All Attack stat provided. The Ignore Dodge stat will help them to fight against enemies with high Dodge. But even though CTP of Transcendence has Invincible Proc, this CTP should not be given to PvP metas due to the absence of Immunity to Guard Break. Simply give CTP of Transcendence to Shadowland clearer or Alliance Conquest character.
CTP of Patience
CTP of Patience is great for character who uses summon/clone as their main damage output thanks to the All Attack stat provided. The Dodge stat is also beneficial for character who has Guaranteed Dodge buff. But even though CTP of Patience has Invincible Proc, this CTP should not be given to PvP metas due to the absence of Immunity to Guard Break. Simply give CTP of Patience to Shadowland clearer or Alliance Conquest character.
CTP of Refinement
CTP of Refinement is great for tanky character with high defense against certain attack, but lacking ability to heal. Thanks to the Max HP and Recovery Rate given, the character’s survivability will be improved even more. But even though CTP of Refinement has defensive stat, this CTP should not be given to PvP metas due to the absence of Immunity to Guard Break. Simply give CTP of Refinement to Shadowland clearer or Alliance Conquest character.
Some advice before deciding to give your CTPs to a certain characters. Be sure to stick with your focus. Sometimes many players are too fixated to a general consensus. For instance, when asking character recommendation for CTP of Energy, many player will automatically advise Cable. While this is not entirely wrong, but it might be not suitable for your focus since Cable only good for Alliance Battle Extreme and Giant Boss Raid at this moment. So Choose wisely. 🙂
